I’m Craig. I live just outside Glasgow with my wife Louise, our son Isaac and Chester the dog.

Photography has been my full-time job for more than a decade, which still feels slightly ridiculous considering I get to spend most weekends surrounded by people having one of the best days of their lives.

I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings in that time, from small celebrations to huge parties, across Scotland and throughout Europe. I genuinely love the social side of weddings, meeting different people, getting to know families and being right in the middle of everything that happens. There’s always something going on, and capturing those moments is still the part of the job I enjoy most.

Away from weddings, life is considerably less glamorous. I’m usually at home with the family, at the gym, out with Chester or finding an excuse to disappear somewhere in the campervan.

On a wedding day I’m pretty relaxed. I’ll chat to your family, have a laugh with the wedding party and quietly disappear into the background when that’s what the moment needs. After doing this for so long, knowing when not to interfere is every bit as important as knowing when to step in.

Ultimately, I take the photography seriously without taking myself too seriously. I’ll give you an incredible set of photographs while making sure the photography never gets in the way of having an amazing wedding day.
